UP TO 100% MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS Merit-Based Scholarship: - The scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X and XII and 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ ICSE / State Examination Board. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Program. Scholarships will be allotted for the first Semester in Merit order to eligible candidates - Scholarships will be awarded based on merit only - Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy Scholarship Amount - 50% on Tuition fee for the first semester Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers: - Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program - The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students. - Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate) - Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through the Uttarakhand Resident category) - Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per the merit scholarship policy of the University - 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in the first year
Scholarships for top rankers in the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT): UPES is offering 6 scholarships of Rs.50,000 to each student securing top ranks in the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT). 3 out of these 6 scholarships are reserved for girl students. These scholarships are being awarded by Oilmax Energy Pvt. Ltd. In case a student has a tie with another student in the UPES-EAT rank (same score), the student having a higher PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) score in Class 12 will get the first priority and if there is a tie in the UPES rank as well as Class 12 PCM marks, the student who is elder in age will be given priority. EXCLUSIVE SCHOLARSHIP FOR ALL GIRL STUDENTS - 25% Scholarship on tuition fees for all girls taking admission in any of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate for 2020 Intake - This scholarship is applicable for the full duration of the program - Renewal of this scholarship is on yearly basis - Minimum attendance in the previous year should not be less than 75% - The student should not have any disciplinary case/action
