Established in the year 1956, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is a government institution. AIIMS Delhi has been approved by the NMC. AIIMS Delhi offers three levels of courses which include undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
The courses at AIIMS Delhi are offered in various streams such as Medicine and Allied Sciences, Sciences and Pharmacy. At undergraduate level, AIIMS Delhi offers MBBA, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Optom courses. The postgraduate courses at AIIMS include M.D, M.S, M.Sc and M.D.S courses. At doctoral level, D.M, M.Ch and Ph.D courses are offered by AIIMS.
Before applying for admissions to AIIMS Delhi candidates should appear for the appropriate entrance examination such as NEET/INICET. To gain AIIMS Delhi MBBS admission candidates must appear NEET exam and secure a valid score. Whereas, for admission at AIIMS Delhi into the M.D, M.S and M.Ch courses candidates need to secure a merit score in the INI CET. AIIMS Delhi admissions are done based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.

MBBS
Age- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 3l’ of December of the year of admission.
Essential Academic Qualification- Should have passed the l2thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (l.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry And Biology as the subject.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks (as indicated in SI No. 03 below) are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
If the institute has to consider an examination of an Indian university or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian university/Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the l2tI class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate science examination.
Minimum Marks- The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the essential qualification at SI. No. 2 of this table) required for appearing in this examination are :
General and OBC candidates: 60% SC/ST/PWBD candidates: 50%
Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by their respective examination board.
MD Anaesthesiology
A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India India must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 30th January
The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS professional examinations
(i) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
(ii) For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate
(iii) For Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
MD Community Medicine

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS professional examinations
(i) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
(ii) For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate
(iii) For Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
B.Sc Nursing Hons
The candidate should have minimum aggregate marks required in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent:
- 55% for Gen/OBC (50% in case of SCs/STs categories) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- 50% for Gen / OBC (45% in case of SCs / STs Categories) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology OR Mathematics.
Note: 2. a) Candidates who are to appear in 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2018 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June, 2018 are also eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, Bachelor of Optometry andB.Sc.(Hons.) Medical Technology in Radiography Courses. b) Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
