All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) was established in 2012 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna’s first phase. AIIMS Rishikesh is a premier medical college and hospital located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, operating autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
AIIMS Rishikesh is an Institute of National Importance approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI). It is an autonomous government institute and has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). Some of the courses in AIIMS Rishikesh are diploma, B.Sc, M.Sc, MBBS, MPH, M.Ch, MD, MS, DM, MDS and more.
AIIMS Rishikesh cutoff 2024 is based on the scores of the relevant examinations and counselling process. MBBS admissions in AIIMS Rishikesh are based on the scores obtained in the NEET entrance examination. To get a PG course in AIIMS Rishikesh candidates must appear in the INI CET. For M.Ch admissions in AIIMS Rishikesh depends on NEET SS scores. MBBS
Age- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 3l’ of December of the year of admission (2019) Candidates born on or after 2nd January 2003 are NOT eligible to apply.
Essential Academic Qualification- Should have passed the l2thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (l.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry And Biology as the subject.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks (as indicated in SI No. 03 below) are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
If the institute has to consider an examination of an Indian university or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian university/Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the l2tI class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate science examination.
Minimum Marks- The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the essential qualification at SI. No. 2 of this table) required for appearing in this examination are :
General and OBC candidates: 60% SC/ST/PWBD candidates: 50%
Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by their respective examination board.

A candidate is eligible to appear in Entrance Examination if he/she:
(i) is an Indian citizen.
(ii) has attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2018). [Candidate born or after 2nd January 2002 are NOT eligible to apply.]
(iii) should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
(iv) has a minimum aggregate marks required in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent: 50% for Gen / OBC (45% in case of SCs / STs Categories) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology OR Mathematics.
a) Candidates who are to appear in a 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2018 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June 2018 are also eligible to apply for B.Sc. Optometry, B.Sc. Medical Technology in Radiography, B.Sc. Dental Assistant, B.Sc. Dental Hygienist, B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine, B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy, B.Sc. PFT Technician, B.Sc. Bronchoscopy Technician and B.Sc. Sleep Lab Technician Courses.
b) Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting the result, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of admission, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
The candidate must have:
(i) Passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board/University. (Those who have passed 10+1 on or before 1986 are also eligible.)
B.Sc Anaesthesia Technology
A candidate is eligible to appear in Entrance Examination if he/she:
- Is an Indian citizen.
- Has attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31 December of a year of admission.
- Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
- Has a minimum aggregate mark required in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent: 50% for Gen / OBC (45% in case of SCs / STs Categories) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
B.Sc Nursing Hons
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 55% for Gen/OBC (50% in case of SCs/STs categories) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- The candidate shall be medically fit
B.Sc Dental Operating Room Assistant
A candidate is eligible to appear in Entrance Examination if he/she:
- Is an Indian citizen.
- Has attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission .
- Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
