CMR University (CMRU) is a state university established in 2013 under the State Act 45. The varsity is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). CMRU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Some of the popular courses offered by the university are B.Arch, BCA, BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, LLB, BA LLB, BA, M.Com, MSc, M.Tech, MA, MBA, Executive MBA, MSW, MCA and PhD. CMRU offers full-time programmes only. Aspiring candidates must meet the CMR University eligibility criteria for the courses. Depending upon the course, the university offers merit-based and entrance exam-based admission.
