Dharmashastra National Law University Jabalpur was founded in 2018. DNLU Jabalpur is recognised as an "Institute of National Importance". Courses offered by DNLU Jabalpur include BA LLB (Hons), LLM and Ph.D. For admission to NLU Jabalpur BA LLB programme candidates must appear for CLAT examination.

While for DNLU Jabalpur LLM programme candidates must appear for CLAT PG examination. DNLU Jabalpur also offers merit cum mean financial aid to needy students of DNLU Jabalpur.
