Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya: Courses, Admission 2025, Fees, Scholarship, Placements, Ranking

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
•  Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIM Bodh Gaya’s doctoral program:

Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, or Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, or Five year/four-year Integrated Master’s degree program in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent, or Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Arch.) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent.

Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the program will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30th June. 

*The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

Age Limit: Candidate must not be more than 40 years as on 1st June.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year 2022 or appearing in 2023. Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by 31 July 2023 can also apply. The candidate must have passed class 10^th examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year not before 2020.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Class X and Class XII would be calculated based on the Board’s regulation. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet should be considered for calculating the passing percentage.

The application of the candidates, who are appearing in Class XII examination, will be provisional till their Class XII result. The candidates who do not score the requisite score as above will be considered to be out of the application/admission process.
