Established in 1998, International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad is the first IIIT to use the not-for-profit public-private partnership (N-PPP) model. IIIT Hyderabad is recognised as an "Institute of National Importance" and has also been approved by AICTE.
Courses at IIIT Hyderabad include B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Tech + MS, MS and Ph.D programmes. For admission to IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech programme candidates must appear for JEE Main examination, while for admission to M.Tech programmes candidates must appear for IIITH PGEE examination organised by IIIT Hyderabad. Students can receive career assistance and participate in placement drives organised by IIIT Hyderabad.
