Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU) Lucknow is a state university established in 2009 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. KMCLU Lucknow is named after the famous Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who is also known as Gharib Nawaz. KMCLU Lucknow is accredited by NAAC and recognised by the UGC. KMCLU Lucknow offers a wide range of courses in various disciplines. 

The courses at  KMCLU Lucknow are available at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Some of the popular courses include Diploma in Translation; and Certificate in Spoken Arabic, BA(Hons), BE/BTech, BSc, B.Ed, MEd, MJMC, and PhD in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, English, Hindi, and Sanskrit. The KMCLU Lucknow conducts entrance exams for admission to some of the courses.
