Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala was established in 2010. The college offers a total of 20 courses, of which 11 courses are offered at the undergraduate level and 9 courses are offered at the postgraduate level. The MMU Ambala admissions are offered based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination except for B.Arch whose admissions are done based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination. The MMU Ambala scholarships are provided to eligible students. The MMU Ambala also offers placement opportunities to students. The university is approved by the UGC and accredited grade ‘B’ by the NAAC.

MMU Ambala Courses
The college offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The MMU Ambala Courses include B.B.A., B.Sc., B.Sc. MMU Ambala Admissions
The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for the courses at MMU Ambala. For the B.Arch admissions, the candidates must qualify NATA/ JEE Mains Paper 2. The MMU admissions for the remaining courses are based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination. B.Pharma
The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ University obtaining at least 45% marks (40% in the case of SC/ST category) with at least five subjects including compulsory subject of English, Physics, and Chemistry along with one of the subjects of Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Biology.
B.Arch
- A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as subjects of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- 3-year Diploma in any stream after 10th recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
M.Sc Chemistry
- The candidate should have passed B.Sc.(Hons.) in concerned subject with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category), in aggregate, from any recognized University.
- B.Sc. in full subjects with (Hons) in the concerned subject, obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category), in aggregate, of Hons. an examination from any recognized University.
- B. Sc. with concerned subject securing at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category), in aggregate, from any recognized University.
- BA with Mathematics as one of the main subjects (for M.Sc. Mathematics only) securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
BCA Cloud Technology and Information Security
A candidate who has passed Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) examination an equivalent examination with at-least five subjects including English as a compulsory subject from any recognized Board/University and has passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matriculation examination level shall be eligible to join the first semester class of the course.
For Lateral Entry Admission to 3rd Semester:
The candidate should have passed Diploma in any stream viz. 3 years after 10th or 2 years/1 year after 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Categories) in aggregate.
BBA Brand Management and Communication
The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination from any recognized Board/University with at least five subjects including English as one of the main subjects.
BBA Financial Services
The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination from any recognized Board/University with at least five subjects including English as one of the main subjects.
B.Com Hons
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 5 subjects including English as a compulsory subject, in commerce / non-commerce group having Economics/Maths/Statistics as one of the subjects.
M.Arch
The candidate should have passed a bachelor in architecture (B. Arch) from any institute or university recognized by Council of Architecture with minimum of 50% marks.
B.Sc Agriculture Hons Integrated
The candidates should have passed 10th class from any recognized Board with minimum 60% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST category).
