Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli is a state-private university, that was established in the year 1990 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University caters to the educational needs of Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari region of Tamil Nadu.

A candidate must have passed the B.Sc. In Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Environmental Sciences/Agriculture/Veterinary Science/Chemistry/Fishery Science or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
M.Sc Chemistry
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
M.Com Integrated
A Candidate Should have passed the 10+2 with Commerce and Accountancy Stream from any recognized board.
M.Sc Electronic Media
A candidate must have passed the Any Bachelor Degree with 50% marks Visual Communication, Electronic Media or Journalism preferred or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.

Candidate must have passed the Any Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. Physics/Maths/Chemistry/Geology/Electronics/ComputerScience/IT/Geo-Physics/Stat/ other equivalent Programme from any recognized university.
MA History
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.A. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
M.Tech Computer and Information Technology
A candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology in any one of the following disciplines. Information Tech., Comp. Sci.& Engg., Electronics & Comm. Engg., Electronics & Instrumentation Engg., Electronics & Electrical Engg., Any discipline in Engg.,/Tech., with at least one compulsory theory & practical Programme in Computer Engg.,/Information Tech., (or) Master of Science (M.S. or M.Sc.) degree in any one of the following disciplines. Information Tech., & E-Commerce, Information Tech., Comp. Sci., Any combination of the above disciplines (or) M.Sc. in Maths/ Physics/ Statistics/Operations Research Or M.C.A. The applicant must have a sufficient background in Information Tech., to complete the degree requirements with reasonable performance. The candidates with a valid GATE score in any of the disciplines mentioned in eligible subjects will be given priority over non -GATE candidates, non -GATE candidates seeking admission have to qualify for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University, Chennai.
