Monark University was established in 2021 and is a state private University situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It  has so many courses with specialisation in Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, and Law faculties. Having 171 courses and 24 distinctive degrees, Monark University focuses on different academic areas. This institution is under the University Grants Commission (UGC) hence complies with education standards. 

Monark University has a host of facilities that have been developed to foster student learning and development. The campus includes boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel which are clean and well furnished with internet connection. The library is designed with modem learning in mind and has printed and online books, journals, and e-resources written on various fields. The university is having conveniently designed laboratories to fulfill the requirements of basic sciences, Information Technology, Commerce, Management, and languages. 

For the law students, a moot court facility has been provided to provide hands on practical experience. It also has an auditorium and conference hall necessary for different activities of students and academic processes. A centrally located cafeteria provides a Gross Menu fast food at a very cheap price. There is availability of amenities for indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, chess, carom, table tennis and cricket. Facilities like Wi-Fi, First AID facilities at the university’s health centre and transport facilities aiming at providing most of the needed routes within the city of Ahmedabad for the students’ access are thus offered. Monark University has the best academic offerings of any campus I have seen. 

The institution provides 171 courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels respectively. These include full time, part time and dual modes for studying and learning and can meet different needs of the learners. The programmes offers can be grouped into arts and sciences, engineering, management, law and other professions. One of the features of the academic focus of the university is the availability of a wide list of Ph.D. programmes offered. 

Admission for most of the courses at Monark University is through an assessment of their performance by the applicant. For courses such as BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), there is an NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) on which admission is granted. There are certain programmes that require the university to set its own examination admission cycles of which are given during the various cycles of admission. It ia worthwhile to mention that courses being taught at Monark University cover new domains of study such as Cyber Security, Aviation Hospitality, and Tourism Management.
