National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT UK or NIT Uttarakhand) was founded in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Education. NIT Uttarakhand- one of the thirty-one Institutes of National Importance. NITUK is the Technical Education Hub in the Green and Clean Lap of the Himalayas, precisely located in the state of Uttarakhand.
NIT Uttarakhand has initiated the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) for the benefit of the students, community and the nation as a whole. National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand offers courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels and various specialisations at each level.
NIT Uttarakhand offers a total of 30 courses in 22 branches. The candidate must meet the NIT Uttarakhand eligibility criteria. Some of the popular courses in NIT Uttarakhand include B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D programmes. The candidates must appear for the relevant entrance examination such as JEE Main/GATE/NET(CSIR-UGC-NET/LS) and obtain a valid score. Admissions at the NIT Uttarakhand will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.
After all rounds of JoSAA/CSAB counselling, the NIT Uttarakhand cut-off for B.Tech courses will be announced by JoSAA. National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand offers scholarships for meritorious and deserving students on campus.
