Nehru Gram Bharati (NGBU) is a deemed-to-be university established in 2008 by the Nehru Gram Bharati Society. The institute is accredited by NAAC with a ‘B’ grade. NGBU Allahabad offers various courses at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels in the fields of arts, commerce, science, education, law, mass communication and journalism, medicine and allied science. Nehru Gram Bharati courses are B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, B.Ed, LL.B, D.El.Ed, BBA, M.A., M.Com, M.Sc, M.Ed, LLM, MSW, MSW, MBA, MCA, M.Ed Hearing Impairment, and many others.

NGBU Allahabad conducts its own entrance exam for admission to some of the courses. The candidates have to qualify for the entrance exam with the minimum cutoff marks to be eligible for NGBU Allahabad admission. Nehru Gram Bharati  admission is based on the merit of the qualifying exam, the CUET entrance exam. The candidates have to fill out the online application form and pay the application fee. The candidates have to participate in the counselling process and verify their documents.

NGBU has a dedicated placement cell that provides training, guidance, and assistance to students for their career development and competitive exams. The Nehru Gram Bharati placement cell organises campus interviews, workshops, seminars, and industrial visits. The campus has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for the students and staff.
