Oriental University is a State Private University in Indore, established in the year 2011, under Devi Shakuntala Thakral Charitable Foundation. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level degree courses in streams like Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Agriculture, Commerce, Pharmacy, Education, Law, Library & Information Sciences, Media Studies, Science etc. B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Pharm, B.Com (Hons), BA LLB, LLB, B.Ed, BBA, BJMC, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Ed, LLM, Ph.D, etc. are some of the programmes offered at Oriental University. Admission to Oriental University Indore (OUI) is based on JEE/ CAT/ CLAT/ MAT/ UCEED/ CET/ PAT/ Others or qualifying examinations i.e., SSC/ HSC/ UG/ PG/ Others. UOI also provides OU-ASPIRE Scholarships to eligible and deserving students.

Oriental University courses

OUI offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level degree courses in areas like engineering, management, science, law, media studies, and more. Some of the UG, PG and Doctoral programmes provided at Oriental University are as follows: B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B. Pharm, B.Com (Hons.), BA LLB, BA, B.Ed, BBA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc, LLM, Ph.D, etc. The duration of OUI UG and PG courses is from 1 year to 5 years, whereas the duration of Ph.D programmes is minimum 3 years. Apart from the regular UG, PG and Ph.D programmes the university also offers diploma programmes in engineering, law and pharmacy. Oriental University course fees for B.Tech is between Rs 142500 to Rs 322500, the fees for MBA is between Rs 82500 to Rs 142500.

OU Indore admission

Admissions to OUI undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses will be offered to students meeting the Oriental University programme eligibility criteria. The complete Oriental University admission process is based on the respective course entrance examination i.e., JEE/ CAT/ CLAT/ MAT/ UCEED/ CET/ PAT/ Others OR Qualifying Examination i.e.,SSC/ HSC/ UG/ PG/ Others. OUI application form can be filled by candidates either in online or offline mode.

Oriental University Indore Scholarships

OU Indore provides students with financial assistance by awarding different kinds of scholarships, freeships to them. Students can expect scholarships of worth Rs 6 crore. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance in any Entrance exam, Qualification examination, sports achievement or could be a Single Parent/Covid Warrior (Parents)/OU Employee Blood Relation. The university offers scholarships to maintain diversity in the campus. Students can apply to the OU Aspire Scholarship.

The training and placement cell at Oriental University undertakes placement activity on the campus. Training and placement cell carries Global Certification Programs and has Tie-up with two National-level assessment agencies for continuous assessment of the students. The highest salary offered to students at OU Indore Rs 20 LPA, while the average salary offered was of Rs 4 LPA. The university has a big network of alumni working for the top corporations. The university is located at Gate No.1, Sanwer Rd, opposite Revati Range, Jakhya, Indore. Transportation mediums are close to Oriental University campus with the Sarwate Bus Stand 12 km, nearest railway station Indore Junction at a distance of 12 Km. Oriental University campus could also be reached from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, 15 Km.
