PDM University, Bahadurgarh was established in 1995 under the Government of Haryana. PDM University is a part of the PDM Group. There are other different institutions and hospital which are managed by the PDM Group namely PDM Polytechnic, PDM College of Engineering, PDM Public School, PDM College of Pharmacy, PDM Institute of Engineering & Technology at Karsindhu,Safidon (Jind), PDM College of Education, PDM Dental College & Research Institute, PDM General Hospital, PDM College of Diploma Engineering & Technology, Karsindhu,Safidon (Jind), PDM School of Pharmacy, Karsindhu, Safidon, PDM College of Engineering for Women, PDM College of Technology & Management, PDM School of Architecture & Town Planning, PDM Primary School. The PDM Group is managed by the PDM Religious & Educational Association. The college is spread over an area of 95 acres providing various academic and infrastructural facilities  to the students and faculty members of the university including transportation, computer lab, sports, hostels, cafeteria, hospital, gymnasium, swimming pool, mac lab, library etc. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Council of Architecture (COA), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Dental Council of India (DCI).
