The Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University Gwalior was established in the year 2008 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and is named after Maharaja Mansingh Tomar. The State University is recognised and approved by the University Grants Commission. The university offers various courses in different fields at four levels of programmes. The RMTU courses include diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. The candidates should meet the RMTU eligibility criteria before applying for the desired course. The candidates must appear for the relevant entrance examination.
The RMTU admissions will be based on the performance in the previous academics and entrance examinations. The RMTU provides various facilities for the students. The RMTU facilities include SC/ST/Cell, fashion department, faculty drama and theatre and many others. The students can participate in various cultural and other activities, conferences and workshops, youth festivals, N.S.S., and summer camps.
