The Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University was established in 2016 and is a state private university located in the city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is accredited by the NAAC and approved by the UGC. Spread over a campus of 20.03 acres, RBBSU offers 73 courses, encompassing 23 degrees, with a total enrolment of students being 1,009 and a faculty strength of 244. 

Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University has a large range of modern facilities to support the overall learning process as well as other activities of students. The university campus has well furnished classrooms, a large and comprehensive library with printed/digital resources, and state-of-art computer labs. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are there to ensure comfortable living. The campus holds sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games along with it for fitness and recreation purposes. Hygienic food is served at affordable prices in the cafeteria and transportation for students commuting to the college.

The university offers a variety of courses at different levels such as Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral levels through full time mode on multiple disciplines. MBBS and B.Sc Nursing, MBA, MCA, BCA, BBA, B.Com, M.Com, and several programmes in the fields of B.Sc and M.Sc medical and allied health sciences.

RBBSU admissions vary with the course. Most courses get admission on merit from the qualifying examination, and entrance tests conducted by the university, interviews wherever applicable. For MBBS courses, a candidate needs to qualify in NEET. The university also conducts entrance exams of its own for some courses like GNM and M.Sc courses.
