Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidhyalaya, Kanchipuram was established in 1993. SCSVMV University is approved by UGC, AICTE, NCTE and CCIM. As per the NIRF 2023 Ranking, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidhyalaya secured its position in 151-200th position under the university category. SCSVMV University courses are offered at UG, PG and doctoral levels.

Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidhyalaya courses include B.Tech, BCA, BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BAMS, M.Tech, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Phil, MCA, MBA and PhD. Uni-gauge-E/JEE Main scores are considered for B.Tech admissions and NEET scores are considered for BAMS admissions. For SCSVMV University MBA admissions, CAT/XAT/MAT/JMAT/ATMA scores are accepted. For the remaining courses, SCSVMV University admissions are offered based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination.
