- Sri Sai University, Palampur, was established through Act No. 3 of 2011 by the State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh and was officially recognized by the UGC on June 1, 2011
The university is part of the Sri Sai Group of Institutes, founded by Sh. Ram Iqbal Bhardwaj Ji. It was established under the leadership of Hon'ble Chairman Er. S. K. Punj and Managing Director Smt. Tripta Punj
