Acharya College of Education, Bangalore is an affiliated college for education established in 2004 with the primary purpose of building education professionals of tomorrow. This institution is established at Soladevanahalli in Bangalore and comprises a campus of 5.3 acres of land; it affords a quiet and appropriate background required for the institute. The college stands recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and is currently nursery-home to 139 students and 14 sundry faculty members who have years of experience under their belt. Acharya College of Education offers two specialised programmes in education: B. Ed in education and Diploma in Elementary Education is courses that aims at producing competent and passionate teachers.
Acharya College of Education boasts of availability of amenities that would complement the experience of learners for the better part of their time. The campus has Boys and Girls hostels that complement the accommodation needs of out-station students. The college also has concerns with physical health through having a gym and facilities to support sports. Academic and extracurricular facility includes a large hall, as well as several laboratories. There are two full-time courses at Acharya College of Education which take two years each. The B.Ed programme comprises 100 students and the D.El.Ed programme takes 50 students. They are well coordinated to meet the training needs of teachers offering professional development programmes that are a mixture of theory and practice. The total number of students offered the two courses is 150 to maintain quality education, the college ensures that the number of students per class is controlled.

Candidates with at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.
B.Ed
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
