The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is located at Hyderabad in Telangana. Established in 1954, Andhra being the first state to setup a management institute, the ASCI is nestled in a 9-acre scenic campus in Banjara hills. Post graduate and doctoral programmes available in the institute are; Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) & Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Having a faculty strength of 30 proficient teachers, ASCI continues to focus and aim towards providing quality management education and research. It is a senior college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which has set high standard of education in this institution.
Administrative Staff College of India has a number list of facilities to support the learning of the students through the training programmes. The college library is full of books and journals that contain lots of information on functional and sectoral management sides of it. The campus possess good Information technology that comprises good computer networks, internet connectivity and Wi-Fi all over the campus. For the physically inclined there is a fully equipped gym as well as a swimming pool, billiard table, tennis and badminton courts. The college also offers hostel facilities for boys and girls with ac single occupancy, fully furnished and equipped rooms for students.
The institute offers three main courses: The three programmes offered are the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM in Hospital Management and the Fellow Programme in Management. The PGDM admits 120 students for each programme as for FPM which offer 20 intakes. Every course is a full time programme, and while the PGDM programmes take two years to complete, the FPM takes four years to complete. The PGDM programmes are quite standard, designed to equip students knowledge and understanding of management theories and practice. The PGDM in Hospital Management is a specialized programme that is being offered due to increasing requirement in the health sector.

The steps taken in admissions at ASCI are strict and selective. For the PGDM programmes, candidates are to write one of the management admission tests recognized by AICTE including CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT. These exams are pointed out for the PGDM in Hospital Management in the admission process. It generally covers the application review and short listing of the candidates, group interview and panel interview. These programmes offer to students of the ASCI create a diverse learning environment for all students. The institute practicum oriented managerial and industrial training unplanned foresight makes the graduates suitable to fill leadership positions in all sectors of the economy.

PGDM
Passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
PGDM Hospital Management
- Graduates in any discipline (Medicine, Dental Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Commerce, and Arts ) are eligible with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
- Candidates with experience, Candidates appearing for their final year examination of Bachelor’s degree or waiting for the final year results in the current year are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will be given provisional admission and will have to produce proof of graduation within two months of the start of the program, which is typically in July every year.
Fellow Program in Management
A postgraduate Degree from a University or equivalent with FIRST CLASS in the area of Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science, or Commerce will be considered for admission to the Fellow program.
Candidates appearing for their final examination can also apply. Such scholars if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master's Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December.
