Agricultural Polytechnic, Utukur, was established in the year 2005 at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, as a constituent college. The institution is co-educational and imparts agricultural education at the diploma level. Affiliated to Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, the college has a clear vision of imparting quality education in the field of agriculture.

Many facilities enrich the learning experience at Agricultural Polytechnic. The Central Library. The carpet area is 4645 sq. mts. It shall accommodate more than 2,00,000 books and seating capacity shall be approximately for 200 readers at a time. It also accommodates the Agricultural Information and Documentation Centre, AGRIDOC, that caters to the information requirements of scientists spread over 67 University research stations. The IT Infrastructure available in this college includes a well-equipped computer centre provided with internet connectivity for faculty and students. Simultaneously, the institute provides departmental laboratories for practical exposure and parking facilities for faculty, staff, and students. 

Agricultural Polytechnic, Utukur offers the core course of Diploma in Agriculture. This is a full-time course running for two years, with an approved intake of 34 seats. At the end of their course, the students shall have full knowledge and practical skills in subjects connected with Agriculture, which shall enable them to launch into careers in the Agricultural sector and further studies in related fields.
