Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Palakkad (ASP), is one of the leading institutions founded in the year 2014. This ten/out ten co-educational institution is situated in Ahalia Health, Heritage and Knowledge Village in Kozhippara, Palakkad, Kerala and committed to the education in pharmaceuticals. PCI recognised affiliated college offers quality education in the field which makes ASP an associated college. It has an area of acreage 2.889 consisting of the land for administration, teaching, faculty, students and research. ASP currently enrolls 225 students total and has 11 Faculty members that allows for individual attention to students enrolled at ASP. The institute currently offers two degree programmes: Includes B.Pharma and Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the undergraduate/doctorate level in pharmaceutical education.
Ahalia School of Pharmacy is equipped with some of the amenities that are useful for the learners’ academic and all round life. It has its own boys and girls hostels for out station students to give them homely environment to live into. A well stocked library is central to any information acquisition process and provides vital tools in the course of studying pharmacy. There is also an auditorium for occasions and seminars which all make the campus quite vibrant academically. Further, it provides Information Technology facilities, canteen, and transport facilities to provide an overall satisfaction to students as the dedicated institute of the IT.

AS regard to the programmes available for students, Ahalia School of Pharmacy isn’t too vast in the number of programmes it offers but it is correct on quality. The institute currently offers two full-time courses: A B.Pharma of 4 years and a 6 years of course work for Ph.D in Pharmacy. The B.Pharma programme which serves as the foundation of the institute has an approved intake capacity of 100 making the institute capable of offering complete pharmaceutical education at the baccalaureate level.
The entrance requirements at Ahalia School of Pharmacy are meant to ensure that capable and dedicated students join the institutions programmes. The basic criteria for admission to the B.Pharma programme, the only programme offered by the Institute. The Institute must consider 10+2 academic performance in the relevant subjects for admission. B.Pharma
A candidate who has undergone any of the following courses and passed the examination with an aggregate of 50% marks overall and 50% marks in the optional subject: A higher secondary examination of Govt of Kerala with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Sciences/ Biotechnology as optional subject. Any other Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Sciences/ Biotechnology as optional subject approved as equivalent to any of the above examinations by Kerala University of Health Sciences.
