Ph.D Commerce
Any candidate who meets the following requirements is eligible to seek registration for a Ph.D programme :
- A candidate shall have Masters Degree or any other Degree / Diploma of the University or any other Degree / Diploma of any other University / Institution recognized as equivalent thereto, with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) or an equivalent Grade. However, this condition is relaxed to 50% in case of :
- SC/ST/Cat-I candidates.
- In service candidates with a minimum of five years of regular experience associated with teaching profession as teachers/ library professionals/ physical education instructors/ laboratory staff in educational institutions
MCA

BCA
Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program should have passed Pre-University / Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary / 10 + 2 or equivalent with 40% aggregate from any recognised Board or Council in any discipline. Students who have fulfilled these conditions will be considered to have met the BCA eligibility criteria.
A small section of the curriculum of BCA is generalist in nature with focus on the main subjects of computer applications coming in from Semester 1. The approach to fundamentals of computers is a vital section wherein the basic attributes of computers and its applications are discussed. Programming languages are initiated in Semester 1 with the bulk of it coming in Semester 2 and later.
BHM
The eligibility criteria for Hotel Management, is as follows: - Passing Higher secondary
- 10 + 2
- PUC or
- Equivalent examinations in any discipline from recognized boards and universities
Students who have completed their senior-secondary education from boards outside Karnataka can also apply for Hotel Management admission.
Students who meet the hotel management course eligibility criteria can look forward to a lot of different activities in their time at the Institute. Students get to participate in both curricular and extra-curricular activities during their tenure of study.
There are field trips which involve visiting different hotels within the country. Here, students get to interact with industry professionals and get first-hand feedback about the dealings and everyday matters of the hotel industry.

The prospective applicant must satisfy one of the following eligibility criteria for admissions to the MBA programme.
- A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.
- An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages
- Candidates who have passed Bachelor/ Master degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university,recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree programme must be 3 + 2 years
- Candidates who pass bachelor / master degree in any university system in single sitting pattern are not eligiblefor admission to the MBA programme offered by AIMS Institutes, Bangalore
In case of SC / ST / Category I candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained in the University Exams
BBA
The necessary qualification for the BBA course at AIMS Institutes, Bangalore is that the student who should have passed PUC or an equivalent exam and should preferably possess good communication skills.
