AIT stands for Ajmer Institute of Technology which was set up in year 2009 and is an Educational centre located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The Pushkar Bypass based co-educational institute has been producing successful aspiring engineers for more than ten years now. AIT is an affiliated college accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE,), this make its programmes to have a standard quality education. The institute has a core faculty of 114 members with the ambition to create a healthy learning environment for students.

Among the numerous amenities available to the institute is a host of facilities established with a view to improving the student experience. Thus, Ajmer Institute of Technology provides different hostel facilities for boys and girls separately, adequate accommodation for students who come from different parts of the country. This institution provides priority to the engineering discipline as it provides some of the best programmes to meet some of the most promising areas of technology. The institute at the moment offers12 courses whereby students get essentials skills and training to meet the contemporary technological world. Some of these programmes are; B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical  Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The intake capacity is 60 students for the Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering programmes, 30 students for Electrical engineering and Civil engineering programmes respectively. Thus, a large number of programmes enable students to focus on an area of their preference and further their career goals.
