Private AKT Memorial College of Engineering and Technology started in the year 2009 and is affiliated college situated in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. The institute located on a 10.02 acre land is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Having in its enrolment 965 students and 87 faculty members, the college admitted and is offering 7 programmes in undergraduate engineering.

Out of the above mentioned programmes BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, and BE Information Technology has an approved intake capacity of 60. While BE Civil Engineering and BE Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning takes 30 students per batch.
