Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2008.  The college is shortly known as ARMIET Thane and it offers Diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with multiple specialisations like computer engineering, civil engineering, and information technology. ARMIET Thane is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai. Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering and Technology is approved by AICTE and has been accredited by NAAC as well.

ARMIET Thane offers a total of four degrees which are Diplomas, BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, and MMS. ARMIET Thane offers admissions in diploma programmes based on last qualified merit and the students of undergraduate and postgraduate are required to secure a valid score in GATE/CAT/JEE Main/MAH MBA CET/MAT/ATMA/MHT CET.
