All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society's College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pune, Maharashtra, came into existence in the year 1997. The autonomous college has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC with a good CGPA of 3.15. AISSMS CHMCT has four specialist programmes in hospitality and hotel management, with an enrolment of students at 299 spread over a 7.3-acre campus. Evidence of the college's commitment to practical training can be observed in its very specialised facilities, such as guest rooms to train housekeeping in a hands-on way and labs for associated activities like laundry or flower arrangement. Sports lovers can indulge in several kinds of athletics. On-campus gymnasium facilities help build physical fitness. Other facilities at this college include an auditorium to hold various events and seminars, a health centre with first-aid facilities, and a canteen to allow refreshments.

The admission process in AISSMS CHMCT is designed to be holistic and merit-based. In the case of the BHMCT course, admission is done on a centralised basis through the Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test conducted by MAH BHMCT CET. BHMCT
The candidates should have passed the H.S.C. (Std. 12th) examination or its equivalent in academic streams Science, Arts, Commerce or Vocational with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for backward class category and Persons with Disabilities candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) shall be eligible for admission to the BHMCT Course or as decided by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.
The candidates with a non-zero score at CET, the candidates qualifying JEE conducted by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology will be considered eligible for institutional level seats subject to availability of vacancies.
BBA Culinary Management
Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc Hospitality Studies
To be eligible for admission to the first year of the programme, the candidate should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent in Science/Commerce/Arts/ MCVC, with compulsory English; in one sitting and secured minimum 45% marks, (40% marks for the reserved category candidates from Maharashtra) in aggregate of the HSC examination.
M.Sc Hospitality Studies
3 or 4-year Bachelor's Degree in a Hotel / Hospitality Field with a minimum of 50% marks in Integrated
