The Alpha Arts and Science College in Porur, Chennai was founded in the academic year 1996-1997 and currently the college is a reckoned one across the region. This is an affiliated college under the Choudwar–Cuttack University with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) status, it has many undergraduate and post graduate courses. Located in a 3.2-acre land, the AASC is one of the largest campuses with 2276 students, and 111 faculty members.
