Amar Professional College of Nursing, Mohali, Punjab was started in the year 2003 This college is one of the well known college imparting nursing education in Punjab. Situated in the Zirakpur-Rajpura Highway, this co-educational college occupies a 4 acres land and provide proper ambiance for those who are aiming to be part of healthcare profession. Having got INC approval, the college is well established as a nursing education institution. Facilitating the student strength of 206 and faculty strength of 9 the institute follows its policy of student faculty ratio and individual counseling.
The college now has various facilities that are quite modern and facilitate the learning process of students in the modern facility. Nursing education requires laboratories that are fully equipped to enable students gain practical experience other that in clinical settings and the campus meets this requirement fully. Amar Professional College of Nursing is affiliated four extensive nursing programme that helps to fulfill the educational requirements to different health care field. These are four full-course degrees – B.Sc Nursing (4 years) and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 years) offering 50 seats each. Also offered are diploma courses offered in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM).

M.Com
A student who has passed Bachelor’s degree from recognized University i.e. B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA/BA in Commerce or Business Administration or Computer Application or Foreign trade or Economics with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of Reserved Category) shall be held eligible for admission to M.Com degree.
B.Com Professional
1. The examination in B.Com. Professional Part-I shall be open to a student who produces the following certificates to the Principal of the college. (i) of having passed at least +2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least : (a) 40% marks in the aggregate in case of students who have passed 10+2 Commerce group. OR (b) 45% marks in the aggregate in case of a student who have passed 10+2 in Humanities group with at least two out of Commerce/Accounts/Math/ Economics/Management papers. OR (c) 50% marks in the aggregate in case of students who have passed 10+2 but not covered under (a) and (b) above; provided that candidate placed under reappear in not more than one subject in 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto shall also be eligible to this course but such candidates shall have to clear reappear subject in the supplementary examination of the same year failing which his admission to B.Com. Professional Part I course shall automatically stand cancelled. OR (d) Students who opt for any one of the following Vocational subjects, in B.Com. Professional Part I should have passed with at least 50% marks, 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
BCA
The candidate, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BBA
The students who have passed in the 10+2 examination from P.S.E.B. or any other recognized board will be eligible for the admission.
BA
The Candidate who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
M.Sc Information Technology
BCA with 50% marks or PGDCA with 50% marks ( with 3-years graduation) or 3-years graduation degree with one of the following major elective subject in each year: Computer Sciences / Information Technology / Computer Application or any Equivalent subject.
Lateral Entry - PGDCA.
M.Sc Mathematics
The Candidate must have passed B.A./B.Sc. (with Mathematics as a full subject) from Punjabi University, Patiala or any other recognized Indian University. Eligibility criteria will be same as given by Punjabi University, Patiala. The result of the candidate for qualifying class must be available at the time of interview/admission.
M.Sc Biotechnology
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
B.Sc Computer Application
A candidate passed in higher secondary examination (10+2) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in science stream from any recognised board.
B.Sc Biotechnology Hons
- The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream (Medical & Non- Medical etc.) are eligible.
- Minimum eligibility requirement for admission in First semester is 45% marks in the 10+2 examination (Relaxation will be given to specific categories as per Govt. rules).
