Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College, Mukandpur was set up in 1994 in district Nawan Shahr of Punjab is one of the reputed colleges for education. This co-educational constituent college has a campus of 20 acres and provides a wide spectrum of 19 courses within 12 programmes. The college has total number of students 838 and strength of faculties and staff 13 members which makes us a better place to study and develop. This is due to the institutions quality policy when it comes to delivering quality education that is why their course offered ranges from arts commerce computer science and management studies.
It is a great achievement for the college to have equipment and the general infrastructure that supports the learning of the students. Library being a vital part of a students academic equipments possess a collection of nearly 33000 books and numbers national as well as international magazines and journals. But it also offers e-BOOKs access of 51000 and e-Journals of 2100 through Inflibnet, thus students have any kind of information readily available to them.
This institution provides various academic programmes that may suit the different passion and goals in life of the students. A total of 19 courses are offered in the institution, with both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. At the under graduate level the students can obtain their Bachelors’ degree in Art, Commerce, Computer Application and various B.Sc degree programmes in Computer Sciences, Economics and Medical and Non-medical respectively. For postgraduate courses there are MCA, MBA, M.Sc Information Technology, MA Punjabi, and M.Com courses The college also offers diploma courses in Computer Application, Nanny Care and Nutrition, Computer Maintenance, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Food and Beverage, suitable for employment in the current job market.

B.Com
A Candidate should have 10+2 with at least 40% marks in aggregate in any stream or equivalent examination.
BCA
A Candidate should have passed 10+2 in any stream with 40% of marks in the aggregate or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
MCA
- BCA/B.Sc. (IT/Comp. Science/NM/Eco.) /BBA/B.com. with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate or any equivalent degree thereto.
- Graduate in any stream with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Sci./Computer Applications/1T/Computer Maintenance/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate or any equivalent degree thereto
- Bachelor's degree in any stream with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate with Mathematics as an elective subject at +2 level.
BBA
A Candidate should have passed 10+2 with at least 40% of aggregate or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Diploma in Computer Application
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks from any recognized state board.
B.Sc Computer Science
A Candidate should have 10+2 (Non-medical) with at least 40% marks in the aggregate or equivalent examination.
B.Sc Economics
A Candidate who should have 10+2 with at least 40% marks in the aggregate or equivalent examination shall be eligible for the course.
