Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Science was set up in the year 2008, is one of the premier institute at Bidadi Industrial Town, Ramanagaram Taluk of Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka. This affiliated college, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), provides number of under graduation, post graduation and doctorate programmes. Located on a campus spread across 15.05 acre, AIEMS have a total student strength of 371 and a faculty strength of 59. Specialising in engineering, management and technology, the institute offers 11 courses at four degree levels.
The Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Science cares about offering students a complete programme of learning. The campus boasts of functional and well-equipped analytically laboratories for each department to allow practical experience. The library of the institute consists of 2777 titles comprising of 11198 volumes and 72 journals that can be searched on a computerised system using EASYLIB. , to facilitate and meet the needs of students, AIEMS provides internal hostels for male and female students explaining 110 and ninety three respectively. These are in addition to study rooms, TV rooms, and Internet facilities in each of the hostels. The college also possesses good information technology infrastructure for today’s generation needs.
The institute provides courses in a wide calendar of options to meet different academic needs. The course offered for undergraduate level in AIEMS are the full time programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Science and Engineering ,Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute at post graduate level provides MBA programmes. For the students who would like to study occupationally specific curricula, diploma courses in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have been developed.

There are two recognised categories of institutions under AIEMS, and the majority of the institutes have entrance examinations to admit students. For admission to undergraduate engineering programmes, the institute accepts scores of KCET and COMEDK UGET entrance examination. The admission of the MBA programme is done on the basis of Rank secured in the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KPGE.). It also provide management quota for difference programmes which are the seats reserved for management for various programmes.
