Annai Veilankanni’s College of Engineering (AVCE) a recognized engineering college inaugurated in 2012 is one of the premier engineering colleges in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college has clearance from the AICTE offering various engineering courses on a 2.5 Acres Campus. As of now, the total enrolment includes 343 students, while faculty ratios are 81, Further, AVCE has a suitable student teacher ratio.
College has a variety of modern amenities that are intended to facilitate students’ learning processes. The laboratories are well equipped and large enough to enable practical skills training which is made easier by internet connection to ensure the students follow developments within their areas of specialisation. The library is indeed a good one housing books, magasine and journals which are much help particularly in scholars and academic institutions. AVCE also gives much concern to extra activities, and games and sports are part of the curriculum. The college supports the students to take part in competitions at different levels by rewarding them with recognition and fee exemption to the deserving athletes.
In all, Annai Veilankanni’s College of Engineering has five full- time undergraduate engineering courses. These are BE in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, B. Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. A majority of courses having a quota of 60 while civil engineering took 30. This diverse set of program enables the student to pick specialty areas that would suit his or her dream career path.
