Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science (AITS Hyderabad) is one of the leading colleges in Hyderabad which was established in the year of 2005. The institute is situated in Hyderabad and covers 10 acres of land. AITS Hyderabad is affiliated college recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It provides 19 courses under five degree programmes and has total enrolment capacity of 856 students. The strength of the faculty is 164, and this has made the college to achieve a good student-faculty ratio, thereby providing quality education with student interaction.

The institute has a vast range of the modern all-essential infrastructures to support the learning process of the students. The library is well equipped with books of 10,600 with 1,800 titles of both national & international journals. It also features a spacious reading room and a digital library, open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. AITS Hyderabad has departments such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and power electronics having their own designated laboratories. The campus offers an excellent IT infrastructure to make sure that learning and research processes go on smoothly. Other facilities include a health centre, a gym and other athletic amenities, and there is a cafeteria which provides meals during the day.

AITM Hyderabad is engaged in providing a broad spectrum of courses in various level of education. The institute offers 19 programmes that are full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and programmes. The B.Tech programnes offered are Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. For postgraduate education the institute offers M.Tech courses in specialised branches such as the Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Power Systems, etc. In addition, AITS Hyderabad offers MBA and MCA degree programmes for the students, who aim at the management studies or computer application. Selection procedure at AITS Hyderabad is focused on the complete and merit based admission policy. For undergraduate programmes like B.Tech, the major criteria of admission is the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). This is a state-level test that measures the performance of candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) conducted for MBA and MCA programmes is considered by the institute.

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
