Aurora’s Degree and PG College has been set up in the year 1989 and is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. One of the affiliated college and recognised by the NAAC, this college offers an extensive quality and variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It occupies a small piece of land of 0.185 acres and has total enroled of 4925 students and teaching staff of 107. Aurora’s Degree and PG College offers 25 courses in 10 disciplines with specialisations in Commerce, Science, Arts and more. The institution has slightly more male students enroling at 64%, the female students enroling at 36%.  A large proportion of students is under the UG level at 84%, while only 16% are under the PG level.

Generous and adequate funding is provided for the needs of the college and provision of best teaching-learning facilities is not an exception. It facilities consist of 26 nicely equipped laboratories for all departments including Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology Genetics and Biochemistry Chemistry Electronics and physics. Aurora’s Degree and PG College library has a collection of text books, reference books and other form of books that can be termed as general books in different fields. In matters of physical fitness as well as for sports and recreation, this institution boasts of a modern gym as well as numerous and varied sports amenities. It also has an air-conditioned and bright lighted auditorium with a seating capacity of 550-600 people most suitable for college events academic and cultural alike. The computer systems are given their rightful attention, with a central computer laboratory used in academic practicals, career courses and computer certifications. Other facilities provided are a canteen, a health centre, a swimming pool, and an adequate parking space for about eight hundred vehicles.

Aurora’s Degree and PG College provides almost all kinds of higher education programmes. It offers 25 courses that are full-time Bachelor and Master study programmes for international students. The B.Com, B.Com Honours, B.Com Business Analytics, BBA, BBA Business Analytics, B.Sc in different combinations, BA, and BCA are undergraduate courses offered by the university across fields in Commerce, Management, Science, Arts and Computers. For post graduate, level the college offers M.Com, M.Sc in various fields and MA courses. 

The admission process at Aurora’s Degree and PG College is competitive and selective but friendly, and embraces all students regardless of their background. The college generally functions in accordance with the academic calendar of the university of which it is a part. For undergraduate admissions, the college require the marks achieved in 10+2 or its equivalent examination. The general experience of postgraduate admissions the candidate is needed to have valid bachelor degree in the relevant field. The college enrols students from across the country with majority of students being from the home state at 99% and the rest 1% from the other states.
