AV Abdurahman Haji Arts and Science College was founded in 2002 and is affiliated, located in Kozhikode, Kerala. The institution has a large investigative space of 40 acres and has a number of 14 courses spread over 8 degrees. At a student enrolment of 1002 and a faculty of forty seven, the college is well designed for GHAC growth. The institute has a reputation of teaching arts, science, and commerce disciplines at the undergraduate and postgraduate level courses.
AV Abdurahman Haji Arts and Science College has developed a number of structures that augments the learning process of the students. The academic requirements of students are met by a well-equipped IT platform that is most useful to computer science students. It also has departmental laboratory from where student of science subject gets practical experience in their respective departments. An auditorium is a hall that is used to contain one or events/ seminars, thereby promoting an active campus lifestyle. The college canteen facility provides additional leisure and social area to the students and members of the college staff. There are sports amenities for students who desire to engage in some sports activities in order to be holistic.

BA Functional English
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission.
MA English
The Candidate Should be passed the BA English Lang. and Litt./BA English and History/BA Functional English with at least 45% marks for English Main Papers or BA/BSc (excluding alternative pattern) Degree with at least 45% marks in Part I English, of this University or equivalent degree. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
B.Com Finance
M.Com
The candidate who has passed B.Com or BBA (earlier BBS) degree of the University of Calicut or equivalent B.Com BBA, BBM or BBS degree of any other University or Institutes in any state with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade is eligible for admission to the M.Com program. OBC and SC/ST students are eligible for marks/ grade relaxation as per the University rules. In the case of B.Com (Honours) and B.Com (Professional) students, the minimum eligibility for admission is 50% for all categories of students.
BTTM
The Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission.
BBA
The Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50% are eligible for admission. A concession of 5% will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need to get only a pass.
B.Sc Computer Science
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics/ Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/Informatics Practice/Informatics/ Additional Mathematics are eligible for admission.
B.Sc Physics
Candidates who have passed (eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with science subjects are eligible for admission.
B.Sc Chemistry
The Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with science subjects are eligible for admission.
M.Sc Physics
A student passed B.Sc. Degree in Physics/Applied Physics (Core) of this University or an equivalent degree, with Mathematics as compulsory complementary, having a 50% mark or equivalent grade in Part III (Core and Complementary put together) or B.Sc Physics Honours degree with 50% marks or equivalent grade in Physics core and electives put together. In the case of applicants with triple main/three majors, they should have Physics and Mathematics as two mains/majors and should have minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grades, while putting the three mains/majors together. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
