Bapuji Pharmacy College, Davangere was started in academic year 1992 and is one of the pioneers in the field of pharmacy. The affiliated college is situated in Karnataka, India and occupies a 3-acres of land for its college facility and it recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The college has 507 students and 27 faculty members and provide various options for students interested in pharmacy. The institute offers 5 programmes in 4 levels of study – undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research. The gender division in Bapuji Pharmacy College is almost equal with 55% females and the college is having 14% students from out of the state.
Bapuji Pharmacy College provides its students with the best they need. B.Pharma
A candidate should have passed Second Year P.U.C. (10 + 2 class or any equivalent examination) with a minimum of 40% marks in any combination comprising of PCM or PCB (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of PCM. or PCB) OR Candidates who have scored less than 50% marks in 10+2 class but who have completed B.Sc., degree with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects in combination with any two of the following subjects, namely Physics or Mathematics, or Microbiology, or Botany, or Zoology, or Biotechnology, or Computer Sciences, or Electronics securing not less than 40% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to First Year B. Pharm. Course. OR Candidates who have passed the D. Pharm. Course are eligible for Second Year B. Pharm. Course directly.
M.Pharma Industrial Pharmacy
A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or B. Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University established by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualifying examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M. Pharm course. Further, Pharmacy teachers having recognized B. Pharm qualification and with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in an institution approved by A.I.C.T.E. and PCI will be eligible provided they have scored not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years in B. Pharm). For SC/ST/(Karnataka) Category-I - I candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks in the qualifying examinations.
M.Pharma Pharmacology
A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or B. Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University established by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and/or for this purpose and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualifying examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M. Pharm course. Further, Pharmacy teachers having recognized B. Pharma.D
10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology. ORA pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
