BBS College of Engineering and Technology, Allahabad was established in the year 2002. It is one of the premier institutions amongst all the affiliated colleges of the University and is located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college, approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, has been offering a wide array of program/courses in engineering and management streams. The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes constitute the wide spectrum of BBSCET. The BBSCET presently is offering four B.Tech programmes, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering; one M.Tech programme in Advanced Computer Aided Design and one in MBA. The total sanctioned intake for all these programmes together is 429 and highest amongst them is for B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering.

Admission to BBSCET is done essentially based on performance in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, UPSEE, conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, AKTU, as per the norms of the Uttar Pradesh State Government. This is valid in case of B.Tech and MBA. The college accepts B.Pharma as one of the entrance examinations at the time of admissions.
