BES Institute of Pharmacy Bangalore was set up in 1985, and is known for its pharmaceutical education. It also has the approval of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), which means that it provides education to the required standards in the country. Located in Jayanagar, an area in Bengaluru, BES Institute of Pharmacy creates a conducive environment for learning an experiencing pharmacy education.
This little of achievement makes BES Institute of Pharmacy proud to offer a number of facilities that make the learning environment of students. There’s a library in the campus possessing many books closely related with the subjects, sample papers of the previous years, and the copies of syllabus. It is operated by a professional librarian, who is ever willing to help the students in their studies. For female students, it regarding a girls’hostel, in which the students are provided with safe, comfortable, hygienic and inexpensive meals. The campus also has a big play ground to play sporting activities like volley ball, basketball, and even kabbadi and special area for indoor games like carom and chess.
At present BES Institute of Pharmacy offers only Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme which is regular course spread across two years. This institute has a yearly approved capacity to take 60 students in this programme, which is testament to the belief in offering quality education due to limited class sizes. This format ensures one on one training a crucial aspect of pharmacy due to the technical nature of the field. D.Pharma course is thus aimed at developing the necessary knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences which would enable the students fit well in the healthcare and manufacturing pharmaceutical industries.
The admission criteria of BES Institute of Pharmacy is fully flexible and very much transparent. Like most affiliated college BES Institute of Pharmacy must adhere to the admission criteria as followed by the parent university to avoid sharp practices on the selection process.

The candidate Should have passed II PUC Science like PCMB/PCMC/PCME or 10+ 2 (Intermediate) PCB/PCM or Any other qualification accepted by the pharmacy council of India (PCI) as equivalent to any of the above qualifications.
