BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 1957. Among all the educational institutions of Orissa, this institution is located in the ‘Temple City’ of Bhubaneswar and is regarding for moulding young generations for the past more than six decades. This college occupies a rather extensive territory of 21 acres of land providing the students with 43 courses within 14 degree programmes. The fully equipped library contains 63,521 books, 835 periodicals that enrich students’ knowledge and give them the possibility to study numerous books. For those who need to live within the compound, the college has provided different hostels for male and female students with special provision for SC/ST students. The campus has,functional,well equipped laboratory to support the practical aspect of different field. The students can also have access to a canteen and facilities for various indoor and outdoor sporting activities, and an open aired auditorium for various activities such as seminars.
