BLDE Association's Law College (BLDEALC) Jamkhandi was founded in 2003 with the primary objective of delivering legal education within the nation. In order to accomplish this objective, BLDEALC Jamkhandi is nurtured by a charitable association known as Bijapur Lingayat District Educational Association (BLDEA).
BLDE Association's Law College is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and holds the approval of the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. BLDEALC Jamkhandi provides courses that include a five-year BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) programme and a three-year LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law) programme.
Admission to both the BA LLB and LLB programmes at BLDEALC Jamkhandi is granted exclusively on the grounds of merit, which is determined by considering the cumulative marks achieved in the qualifying examination. BLDEALC Jamkhandi campus is built over an area of 5 acres and provides an environment conducive to learning, with facilities such as well-stocked libraries, lecture rooms, moot court hall and a computing infrastructure.

LLB
- An applicant who has successfully completed a Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalent such as (11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent the institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into this course.
- Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be below 45% of total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
BA LLB

- Maximum age for seeking admission to 5 years B.A., LL.B. is limited to 20 years in case of general category of applicants and 22 years in the case of applicants from SC, ST, and other backward communities as on 1st June. And Maximum age for seeking admissions to 3 years LL.B. is limited to 30 years in the case of general category of applicants and to 35 years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and other backward communities.
