Brown’s College of Pharmacy, Ammapalem is the affiliated college at khammam District, Telangana and it was started in the year of 2004. It has been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and it provide Pharmacy Programme. Located in a 2.5 acres plot, the college has the capacity of 376 students and has 45 faculty members.
Brown’s College of Pharmacy has available amenities that may be useful throughout the college education of the students. It remains a learning institution where all manner of materials are openly accessible to the public. There is free wireless internet connection throughout the campus hence students are capable of accessing information from within the campus. A fully equipped laboratory incorporates the technical competencies that the students need to cover the practical part of pharmacy education In addition, air conditioning is provided seminar halls and auditoriums which are used to conduct different academic events and conferences. It also has large dining hall with hygienically prepared meals for the provision of well balanced meals, computerised computer laboratories and games courts to promote the balanced lifestyle of the students. Those who need to stay are provided their own separate hostel for boys and girls.
In total, Brown’s College of Pharmacy has a combined offer of five, and all are full time. These include B.Pharma – an undergraduate programme, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmacy Practice as post graduate courses and Pharm.D a professional doctorate course. The total approved intake of all B.Pharma courses is 175 across the college and B.Pharma itself has the highest sanctioned intake, 100 students.

The admission process of Brown’s College of Pharmacy depend mostly on the scores of the entrance examinations. On the other hand, for the undergraduate degrees such as B.Pharma and Pharm.D admission is based on a common entrance test known as Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). TS-PGECET is the common entrance examination for M.Pharma admissions for the postgraduate candidates in Telangana state. These entrance exams guarantee the standard and healthy competition that admits the pharmacy students.
