Chanda Kanthaiah Memorial Arts and Science College is located in Desaipet, Warangal district in the newly formed Telangana state of south India and started in year 1968. It is an affiliated college located on 10 acres of land and provides 23 courses in 7 degrees it offers. Colleges such as ours have NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval to support the institution’s goal of offering quality education. The college have a student enrolment of 928 and faculty of 41 that help in conduction of learning atmosphere for prospective scholars.
The available amenities developed in the college bear intention of promoting the learning and self-development of students. A spacious library that measures 5000sq feet has been provided to meet information needs of the h students and staff well equipped. Chanda Kanthaiah Memorial Arts and Science College boasts of having sports facilities where learners are shaped to have good health and strong teamwork sense. As a response to the current society the college has provided state of the art IT facilities so as to enable the students have access to modern technological facilities. It also possesses fully equipped practicals facilities in the form of laboratories, an auditorium for events and seminars and physicallyvenience facilities in form of a gym. In the college, First, Second, and Third year accommodation facilities are available to both males and females – Hostel Facilities – Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel will enhance the accommodation offered to the students away from home.
Chanda Kanthaiah Memorial Arts and Science College provides a plethora of specialisation courses in every stream, thus fulfilling the need of every student. The institution offer 23 courses which include Full-time programmes at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Of these, MBA is unique with an approved capacity of ONLY 60 students. In Bachelor’s degree programmes, the college provides courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce including specification in Economics, Political Science, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Graduation level – Students can also do the Post Graduate courses in the likes of Chemistry, Botany, Hindi, Telugu and commerce. This wide array of courses show that the college offers to students a number of opportunities enough for the students to chase.
