B.Optometry
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Medical / Non-Medical or its equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with 50% Marks (45% in case reserved category) in physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics.
OR
Having passed a Diploma in Optometry with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in case reserved category) from a recognized institution.
D.Pharma
A pass in any of the following examinations with physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics is required:
- Intermediate examination in Science
- The first year of the three-year degree course in Science
- 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science
- Pre-degree examination
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations
B.Pharma
Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination administered by the relevant State/ Central Government authorities, acknowledged as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This should include English as a mandatory subject and physics, chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects, each individually.
(However, candidates who have completed their 10+2 qualification through non-formal and non-classroom-based education systems, such as the National Institute of Open Schooling, Open School Systems of States, etc., are not eligible for admission to the B. Pharm Course.)
OR
Any other certification that the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has approved is equal to one of the aforementioned exams, as long as the applicant is at least 17 years old on or before December 31st of the admission year.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry
All those candidates who have passed the diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution approved by PCI u/s 12 Pharmacy Act, 1948 with subject to the following conditions:-
- Such D.Pharm holders admitted directly to B. Pharmacy 2nd Year shall pass those subjects of B. Pharmacy 1st year which are not covered under D.Pharm.
- At any given time the admission in B. Pharmacy 2nd year should not exceed the sanctioned intake of B. Pharmacy 1st year + 10% seats of the sanctioned intake of B. Pharmacy 1st
- The vacant seats of B. Pharmacy 1st year filled in the 2nd year should be only those that remained vacant in the 1st year and not created by the failure of students or not permitting the students for examination etc. for lack of attendance.
B.Sc Medical Lab Sciences Lateral Entry
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Science or Pharmacy from recognized Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, or Two Year Diploma in Laboratory Assistant/ Medical laboratory Technology from J&K Para Medical & Nursing Council or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate.
B.Sc Medical Lab Science
Candidates must have passed of 10+2 examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology from a recognized Board / University / Council or 10+2 with any of the following vocational courses opted as a subject; Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate.
B.Sc Bio Technology
B.Sc Forensic Science
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with the medical stream at least 50% aggregate and 55% Marks combined in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (45% in case reserved category) from any recognized board of school education
OR
Diploma in Forensic Science with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
B.Sc Medical Technology Anesthesia and Operation Theatre
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with the medical stream at least 50% aggregate and 55% Marks combined in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (45% in case reserved category) from any recognized board of school education
OR
Diploma in Anesthesia and Operation Theatre with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
B.Sc Radiology and Imaging Technology
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with the medical stream at least 50% aggregate and 55% Marks combined in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (45% in case reserved category) from any recognized board of school education
OR
Diploma in Radiology & Imaging Technology with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
