Chhattisgarh Institute of Management and Technology, Bhilai, was established in the year 2008. This is a college affiliate to the university, located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. The institute is situated near NSPCL on Patan Road and offers various engineering programmes. CIMT provides 7 courses across 2 degrees—namely, with a specialization in different engineering fields. The admission process in CIMT is done through counseling by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. Admission is strictly based on CGPET (Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test) or JEE Mains. The intake is divided between State Quota and All India Quota, and the percentages are declared by the Directorate of Technical Education. For the State Quota, the candidate has to qualify in the PET conducted by the Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh.
