Cholan Institute of Technology located at Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, was founded in 1996. This affiliate college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE has been preparing the future generation engineering professionals for well over twenty years. Located at 16-Sembarambakkam karai, Post, the institute has different diploma courses that cover a wide speciality in engineering. With an aim of improving the learning process of student at Cholan Institute of Technology there are various facilities available as follows. The modern library is well equipped to meet student needs and can provides a student with resources for academic studies. As for the involved sports, the college participates in football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis to those who are interested in physical activities in equal with fabricated academic schedule. It also has equipped well-equipped laboratories for each department to incorporate into its teaching methods practical sessions for students. The institute also has health facilities by possessing a Health Centre too, that will ensure first aid amenities for the community.

Currently, Cholan Institute of Technology offers only five diploma courses, and all the five programmes offered are full-time programmes. These course offered are over a vast area of engineering discipline and the students get multiple choices regarding their interests. It has a total sanctioned strength of admitting 360 students in all its programmes, as the institute’s ability to cultivate a large number of budding engineers annually.
