CSI College for Legal Studies, Kanakkary was started in 2013 as an affiliated college at Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Kerala. Recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI), this is an institution exclusively for legal education and have two integrated law courses. The college offers a total of 120 students’ enrolment at a time and little faculty of 26 members to ensure a concentrated learning atmosphere for the persons intending to make a career in law fields. The institute's commitment to quality education is evident in its 1:4.It had a 6:1 faculty to students ratio they stated that showed they were able to focus on every student individually.
This college has available amenities that can help improve learning process and personal development of the students. A library is well stocked with books and magazines, recent periodicals, law reports and journals and has photocopying services to facilitate research. Centristcy of Moot Court Hall is state-of-art establishing College’s practical approach towards legal education with the capacity of inter Collegiate moot court competitions. To meet up with this development, law computer room with internet service and other electronic facilities are provided free of charge for student uses as well as access to online database of law reports, statutes and law reviews. It is also separately announcing its hostels for both boys and girls from other districts and states for the convenience of students to stay and comfort. These include a hall for all occasions such as seminars while other facilities for leisure and sports include the sporting grounds respectively, and demonstrating a cafeteria to meet the food needs of faculties and students.
CSI College for Legal Studies offers four comprehensive five-year integrated law programmes: BA LLB (Hons), B.Com LLB (Hons), LLB, LLM. These programmes are aimed at offering legal education in the combination with arts or commerce background to the students adding to employability in a variety of professions within the legal profession.

The KLEE examination, which will be conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala will form the basis of admission of CSI College for Legal Studies. This entrance test determines the candidates for both the BA LLB (Hons) and B.Com LLB (Hons) courses for admission to the present academic session. Candidates may follow the information brochure of the Commissioner of Entrance Examination for the future dates related to KLEE like application and examination dates and result release. - Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
- The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence/open schooling method).
- And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
