Located in Darbhanga, Bihar, Darbhanga College of Engineering is an affiliated college that was founded in 2008. The 42-acre campus of this AICTE-approved school offers a range of engineering programs. With 1,015 students enrolled overall and 43 faculty members, DCE Darbhanga offers 7 courses at two different degree levels. Its areas of expertise include computer science, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and cyber security. 81% of the student body is made up of men, and 19% is made up of women. Students can play sports such as volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and table tennis to learn teamwork and sportsmanship.
The courses offered by the institute add up to 7, comprising 6 undergraduate and 1 postgraduate. All UG programs are full-time four-year B.Tech degree courses while the PG program is two-year M.Tech in Power System. Specialisation offered in B.Tech Civil Engineering, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The institute also offers new fields like B.Tech in Cyber Security and Fire Technology and Safety.

The admission process into DCE, Darbhanga, is mainly based on the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), which is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Applicants need to appear in both the Screening and Main Examination conducted under BCECE. This institute accepts BCECE scores for admission in its B.Tech programmes.
