Dasrath Prasad Ramnandan Pandey B.Ed. College, Jamhor, Bihar, is an affiliated institution for teacher training. This affiliated college was established in the year 2010. For the past decade, this co-ed institute has been engaged in the task of moulding future teachers. The institute is approved by NCTE; thus, the institution follows all standards laid down by NCTE regarding teacher education. It has two full-time courses, namely B.Ed., on the compact campus of 0.629 acres. The programs under its belt include D.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Student enrollment is 196, faculty strength 45, and the student-teacher ratio is hence very conducive to a good learning environment.

The College imparts two regular full-time academic courses, namely Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). B.Ed. consists of a two-year program with an intake of 150 approved seats, which is targeted at secondary and higher secondary levels in teaching. Another course offered is the D.El.Ed. course; it is a two-year course with 100 seats, aiming to prepare teachers at the elementary level.

The Dasrath Prasad Ramnandan Pandey B.Ed. College provides admission to students based on merit, marks obtained in qualifying examinations, and/or entrance examination. Admission Policies: The institution has a stated admission policy as laid down by the state government of Bihar and its affiliated university. Admissions to the B.Ed. program will be made in accordance with a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum percentage as specified by regulatory bodies. The D.El.Ed. require candidates to have passed 10+2.
