DAV College, Jalandhar, which was set up in 1918, is one of the leading co-educational institutions in Punjab, India. This affiliated college which is recognized by the NAAC has 88 acres of area. DAV College is one of the oldest Institute of Higher learning with its origin dating back over a century. Within the institution, there are 33 courses in 15 degree programmes for a total enrolment of 4,637 students; the institution is staffed by a faculty of 199 members.
One of the things that the college is most proud of is its infrastructure since most of them have been specially put to complement the learning process. Students have a unique opportunity to use laboratories, a rich library that contains more than two lakh text and reference books, and the ‘E-resources lab’ equipped with modern technologies for electronic learning. In the postgraduate level, the college provides M.Sc courses in Chemistry, Computer Science Mathematics and others. The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with at least 40% Marks in an aggregate or equivalent examination.
BBA
The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with at least 40% Marks in an aggregate or equivalent examination.
M.Sc Chemistry
The Candidate must be passed BSc (Hons.) degree in the subject Chemistry Or BSc examination with 50% marks and has studied the subject of post Graduation as an elective subject.
B.Com Hons
Candidate should be eligible for Honours in Commerce must be secured 50% marks in B.Com Sem-I and Sem-II.
BJMC
The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with at least 50% Marks in the aggregate or equivalent examination journ.
B.Sc Economics
